SPORTS HALL


An excellent multi purpose learning area. The wooden floor is similar to those used in the NBA and has under floor heating. Many sports are catered for in the sports hall with the following facilities:

  • 4 badminton courts
  • basketball court
  • netball court
  • volleyball court
  • 4 cricket nets
  • trampolining rig

In addition there is a digital scoreboard and video analysis technology to assist with observation and feedback.

Outdoors
The Leigh Technology Academy has extensive fields on site for use all year round:

Winter:
3 x football pitches
2 x long jump pits
1 x shot putt throwing area
1 x javelin throwing area
2 x artificial cricket strips
3 x rounders pitches

Summer:
1 x 400m track
2 x long jump pits
