KS 4 - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The Religious Studies Short Course is divided into 4 sections which cover the following topics:

Judaism 1

• Beliefs
• Special Days
• Division and Interpretations

Judaism 2

• Worship
• Community and Family
• Special Writings

Perspectives on World Religions

• Responsibility for the Planet
• Prejudice and Equality
• War Peace and Human Rights

Ethics

• Religion and Human Relationships
• Religion and Medical Ethics
• Religion Poverty and Wealth

The course is assessed entirely through examinations.  There are 4 papers, each lasting 1 hour, each requiring the candidate to answer 2 questions from a total of 3 questions.
