KS 4 - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The Religious Studies Short Course is divided into 2 sections which cover the following topics:

Christian Perspectives on Moral and Social Issues
Relationships
Prejudice and Discrimination
War and Peace
Life and Death
The Environment
Poverty
World Religions - Judaism
Beliefs and Values
The Home
The Community
Festivals
The Holocaust

The course is assessed entirely through examinations. There are 2 papers, each lasting 1 hour, each requiring the candidate to answer 2 questions - one of these is a compulsory question, the other is a choice from 3 others.
