KS 4 - FINANCIAL STUDIES
Applied Business has strong links with lots of other subjects and develops skills such as IT, as well as enhancing your communication and mathematical skills. After completing the GCSE in Applied Business course you can progress into many different areas of study and work, for example:
- GCE Applied Business or AS Business
- Courses in Finance
- traineeships or apprenticeships in finance and administration occupations
In addition to a Single or Double Award in Applied Business we offer our students the opportunity to take a course in Personal Finance. Successful completion of this course gives you a qualification equivalent to GCSE at A* to C grades. The course has 3 units, all assessed by multiple-choice style examinations.
Unit 1: Personal Financial Encounters
