KS 3 - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

In Years 7 and 8, the RS course is built into a Project Based Learning Programme. Topics such as the Hajj are taught alongside moral, ethical and philiosphical questions.

The course enables students to:

• learn to understand and respect different religions, beliefs, values and traditions
• explore issues within, across and between faiths
• learn to make reasoned and informed judgements on religious and moral issues;
• develop their sense of identity and belonging
• develop skills in analysis, expression, reflection, evaluation and application
