

KS 3 - RELIGIOUS EDUCATION
In Years 7 and 8, the CEMP course is built around a Philosophy for Children approach. Topics such as Aspects of Christianity, Hinduism and Islam are taught and followed up with a Problem Solving Assignment – this allows students to develop a wide range of skills.
The course enables students to:
- learn to understand and respect different religions, beliefs, values and traditions
- explore issues within, across and between faiths
- learn to make reasoned and informed judgements on religious and moral issues;
- develop their sense of identity and belonging
- develop skills in analysis, expression, reflection, evaluation and application
