CHINA WORK EXPERIENCE EXCHANGE PROGRAMME 2009

The Leigh Technology Academy has teamed up with the Beijing No 57 High and Junior High School, Beijing, China.

Our students will be working with the English department within the school as learning assistants. Generally, the spoken English in schools is very basic and the Chinese students will benefit a great deal from having a British, English speaking student amongst them.

As this is an exchange, our students will be hosted and will be staying with students and their families of the Beijing No 57 School.

The programme enables our students to put their skills into action as well as developing new skills, develop confidence and gain an insight into the education system.

No trip to China would be complete without marvelling at the sight of Beijing and the surrounding areas.  Students will have the opportunity to see the Great Wall of China, one of the 7 wonders of the world!
