ADMISSION PROCEDURE


Prospective Year 7 students

Our Admissions Policy, Prospectus and Supplementary Form for entry into Year 7 for 2010 will be available for collection from Reception from Monday 7th September 2009. Alternatively, you can send a SAE (A4 size, 90p in stamps) to the Admissions Secretary at The Academy.  The Supplementary Form is also available to download and return to the Admissions Secretary.

The closing date for completed applications is Friday 6th November 2009 and our Ability Assessment Day is Saturday 28th November 2009.

Prospective Post 16 Students

All candidates are interviewed to ensure that they meet Academy standards and choose the appropriate courses. All details for September 2010 will be posted as soon as they are finalised.

Our open evening for prospective Post 16 students is normally held in November.
